you go through various times in your life. when you are a teenager it is all about the opposite sex (or same sex depending on who you are). Everything is about what to wear, what to do, what to say, simply to impress them. When you are a young adult... 18 - 21 possibly... you go through a phase of party party party. everything is a joke. you do not realize that getting drunk and waking up with a huge headache next to a person you barely know is not a good thing. it does not make you higher up on the popularity scale. but you do it anyways. the next few... 5... 10 years... you go through various other stages. depending on your life choice. you get married... get divorced.... have kids.... have jobs... lose jobs.... maybe not in that order. different paths you take obviously play a big role in how you act. the way you choose to dress. the way you hold yourself... the way you address others. the positions you take or decline (thinking business wise here). So many factors play a role in who you are at this very moment.

this. very. moment.

who are you? do you even know? have you taken the time to really figure out what you want and how you plan on getting to where or what you want? you may have thought about it, but was it briefly? a passing thought on what you feel you need to do with your life and then the second a shiney thing passes by your face the thought it out of your focus.

young, old, inbetween. age does not matter in this circumstance.

i have things i want to accomplish. i have things i thought i had already accomplished and then there was a fork in the road and i had to start all over again. i am determined to get things done and be a success in someway... however i feel as if i will be 30 and have failed at 95% of the things i have tried to have done by that time. So i am setting goals... over and over again.... until i reach them. short term goals. the long term ones are still there..... but the short term ones are the ones i am attempting to reach now.

the way i speak... the people i speak with... the activitites i choose to partake in... the way i am with my son... the way i treat myself... the way i allow other to treat me... all of those things i am changing. some in a drastic way... some in a small, but effective, way.

hurricanes are a pain in the ass. i will update when i get a few moments of non chaos. quick update is that my house is good, we are good and we have power. most of the people in my area do not have power and my parents dont and their house was hit pretty good. but all in all it could have been much much worse.

cannot stop laughing right now. kinda an inside joke, but anyways i asked roberto for an invoice since he picked up a stripe kit for a truck we have here and i needed the invoice to attach to the check stub. he motions to colleen that he gave it to her so she got it from the copy machine where she had left it and i glared at both of them in a comical way and colleen goes "man she is touch-eee today" and roberto just looked at me and raised his eyebrows and smiled and walked out and i started laughing and colleen stopped and looked at me and laughed and said "what did you hold back from saying?" which of course made me laugh because me and my mind, my immediate response was "oh, yea? touch me" of course thought of in a seductive way. but it was not directed to either of them, it was just the thought that came in my head. Colleen was laughing because she knew thats what i thought.

yea... i guess you had to be there. lol

hurricane hurricane go away....
*sigh* here we go again. The way we have treated our planet is the reason for this. The waters are warmer and the hurricanes are a plenty. I have never seen a season like the past two hurricane seasons. Next year should be a blast as well as the coming years.

Does anyone know of a certain style of journal here on lj that will allow you to just look at your communities? i mean i know we can choose "friends" but i do not want to add my coms to my friends.... i wish there was a way to just choose to go through the communities... there should be a way to do that.

my lj is kinda acting weird... my friends page is .... i cannot figure it out.

ehh..... lady called me on the place i want to rent. She says without a check in hand and a signed lease she cannot hold the place. I will not have the money until late next week.
